The program provides an opportunity for interested individuals to increase their horticultural knowledge and expertise. Registration for the program involves filling out the application, paying the fee and agreeing to volunteer service time to the local extension office. Volunteer time can be served by answering horticulture calls at the office, helping with 4-H gardening activities and helping at the county fair.
